The HAAS Machining centre VM2-HE is due to its direct drive spindle especially suitable for work-pieces of mould construction. The following features can extend the range and also reduce production times for the benefit of our customers:
- Max. spindle speed of up to 12,000 rev /min.
- Internal coolant supply through spindle
- 24-fold lateral tool changer
- tool measurement
- Work-piece measurement
Furthermore, the system is connected to an optional 3-D CAM system supplied by Esprit. Thus the import of the conventional 3-D data sets, as well as the offline programming is common practice.
